First Impressions From Claire

I was surprised at how much Morocco is like America. When we arrived, the weather was overcast, and rather drab. The customs personnel were laughing at us because none of us knew what was going on. All of us were exhausted, but glad to have our feet back on the ground. On the ride from Casablanca to Rabat, the car was mostly silent, a mix of dreariness, excitement, and anticipation. Our families are wonderful and it feels like we've been here for ever.

What an incredible journey you guys are on. Thank you so much for posting your impressions; it really makes me want to pack a bag and go. I can't wait to see more photos. I hope the rest of your trip is as great as the first part. -Grace (a OneWorld Now! fan and volunteer)
