My first impression was "Wow I am really in Africa" "Before the trip it never really occurred to me where I was going until we landed and entered the airport where I was looked crazy like Why are you here Once I met my host family my journey of thoughts and impressions really began"

Hi Jackie ... hope your feeling better. It has been very hot here and we all like the heat but not this hot. Grandma says "bring home some receipes" "your host family sounds great" and "I'll save you some raspberries". She also says "keeps up your scrapbook and/or journal" so that you have great memeories later and you can remeber what you did for three weeks this summer. Everyone is fine, dogs and cats are hot, but soon it will not be hot and we can relax. We miss you and love you lots!!! Grandma and auntie Gail
